Financial education is seemly a wide spread topic for Filipinos especially to those working overseas, currently an issue at hand to Filipinos here in South Korea.

From an ordinary investors…. financial advocates were born…..aiming to help their Kababayan’s na mag ipon at maghanda para sa kinabukasan ng kanilang mga pamilya
PSMIK (Pinoy Stock Market Investors in South Korea) founded by Marlon Lauron on the last quarter of 2013 as a group page in the social media Facebook, tackling merely about investing in Philippine Stock Market.
As it gained curiosity among the Filipinos asking about how to invest, they then associated with another group… TGFI (The Global Filipino Investors), having the same advocacy, they outlined trainings and seminars na hindi lang focus sa pag aaral ng stock market, they also introduced mutual funds at iba pang investment instruments kasama na ang entrepreneurship.
By 1st quarter of 2015, PSMIK was then reorganized initiated by the same founder, through the helping hand of Jason Sigfred Seril and Jack Rusl.
….and FLAN (Financial Literacy Advocates Network) was deep-seated.

Joel Galamiton, Geraldine Lungay, April Camello, Lilibeth Gubat, Lowell Sato, Sarah Forlaje, Cziera Corpuz and Genevie Serondo….functions as the core team members.
Bounded by its objectives: to provide financial education throughout South Korea by promoting financial literacy; to encourage individuals and groups appreciate investing; to become financially independent; to develop the potentials of members and help them on their personal and financial growth through proper training; and to promote and establish cooperation among international organizations with common good interest.
The group offers coffee shop sessions for small groups interested to learn personal finance and investing. They are very approachable and willing to guide you.
Series of trainings and seminars were initiated already…. sa pagdami ng bilang ng mga Pilipinong nagpapakita ng interes sa pag i-invest….patuloy silang nag paplano upang makatulong sa ating mga kababayan.
Recently held Seminar on PAG-IBIG Mutual Funds, Department of Agriculture Services and Assistance in Agricultural Productions/Agribusiness and OWWA Reintegration Program.
