FILIPOS, a pioneering photography group in South Korea, hold their oath taking for the new set of officers… Sunday, July 3, 2016.
Filipino Photographers In South Korea, FILIPOS as known to many, is a group of Filipinos enthusiastically motivated with their passion in photography.
With the purpose of sharing skills and improving talents of each member in photography, FILIPOS continues to grow and conduct events and activities that help do it so. From basic camera setting workshops, basic editing tutorials, workshop with a pro, photo shoots, photo walks, official event photographers and group related events. Their contribution to the Filipino community is remarkable.

The annual oath taking took place at the Sentro Rizal, Philippine Embassy Seoul, South Korea with His Excellency Ambassador Raul S. Hernandez as the inducting officer and with the presence of Vice Consul Ella Karina Mitra.

The new board of officers are: Federic Aujero, as the fifth president; Ehd Mallo (vice president); Maria Mimay (secretary); Mark Samillano (treasurer); Bernard Gimpes (auditor); and Jerwin Magpantay (PRO).

Appointed committees are: Jay Nemeno (membership); Ehva Madriaga (workshop); Kathrine Mae Aranda, Daisy Lyn Anoos, Richard Cruz, Garry Castro and Albert Nava (events); Zel Kim, Marcel Pagala and Jann Redbyrd (board of directors).
As a group that is active in the Filipino Community, FILIPOS always welcomes other Filcoms in South Korea that needs its service in the field of photography and membership is open for all enthusiasts.
